EXECUTIVE CONVERGENCE

Cabinet officials trading the same ticker as Congress · OGE 278-T periodic transaction reports (primary source)

Members of Congress aren't the only people in Washington who trade stocks. Cabinet secretaries, agency heads, and other senior executive-branch officials file their own disclosures under the Ethics in Government Act. This page cross-references those filings against congressional trades to surface convergence — the same security bought by both branches inside the same window. It's the rarest and highest-confidence pattern on the platform, because it requires the information to reach two independent branches of government at once.

THIS PAGE ANSWERS THREE QUESTIONS
1
Which tickers have both Congress AND a cabinet official trading them right now? The Active Convergence Signals section — purchases on both sides within 30 days, not historical noise.
2
Which official-to-member matches are actually meaningful? Authority-aligned pairs (the ticker’s sector falls under the official’s own agency), tight windows, high-conviction members sort first.
3
Who are the most interesting officials to watch? Officials to Watch ranks by relevance to active congressional signals — not by raw transaction count.

How to read a signal:convergence describes a sequence — two officials bought the same stock in the same window — sourced to each side's primary filing. It is not an accusation of coordination or wrongdoing. Trading is legal for both branches; the platform surfaces the pattern and links the sources, and leaves the interpretation to you.
